Heather has owned a State Farm agency in University Place for the past 5 years and insurance has been in her family for over 18 years. She currently provides living wage jobs for nine employees and takes pride is helping them develop personally and professionally. She attracts and retains the best talent by creating a supportive work culture that values open communication, empowerment and a healthy work-life balance. As a team, they pride themselves on providing reassurance and support to customers during tough times. As a Tacoma native, Heather shows her commitment to her community by supporting multiple non-profits like the Families Unlimited Network and numerous youth sports booster clubs. She supports other women in business through various mastermind groups and less formal meet-ups. Heather is a proud mom of two young children and wife of another State Farm agency owner. As a State Farm Agent, Heather serves the residents and businesses of pierce county and the wider Washington area.
