Angela Jossy

Angela Jossy is the new owner of Weekly Volcano, a publication dedicated to supporting Tacoma and Pierce County's creative community and small businesses while also helping readers find fun things to do, inspiring stories and helpful resources. For over twenty years she has used her platform to promote small businesses, musicians, artists and non-profits in unique and impactful ways using her strong background in technology, media and community engagement. Projects that she's most known for include several local festivals (most recently Art on the Ave Festival in the 6th Avenue Business District), Speakeasy Arts Cooperative, Tacoma ART BUS, GoLocal and ongoing efforts to promote shopping locally and using creative strategies to connect consumers with businesses in Tacoma.
